The team

Tech founders.
Built with hospitality legends.

We've all been on the wrong end of a late invoice. As suppliers and operators, we've watched millions sit in overdue ledgers, hired people to chase payments, and offered discounts manually just to get cash moving. There had to be a better way. PAIDD is it.

The people
building PAIDD

Jonnie, Amy and Yury built and scaled tech businesses globally before co-founding PAIDD. Selling into major hotel brands as technology suppliers, they experienced the late payment problem directly — and recognised that the solution wasn't chasing invoices or renegotiating terms, but automating early payment across the entire supply chain.

Jonnie Cartmill
Jonnie Cartmill
CEO & Co-Founder

Jonnie has spent 20 years building and scaling SaaS companies globally — from early-stage startups through to businesses that raised $200M+ from tier-one investors. Senior roles at Meltwater and Sendcloud took him deep into enterprise sales across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Selling into major hotel groups, he saw the late payment problem first-hand and co-founded PAIDD to automate the solution.

Amy Choi
Amy Choi
Co-Founder

Amy brings a background in digital strategy, brand and project management across agency and in-house roles. At PAIDD she leads commercial operations — overseeing onboarding, customer success and the relationships with hotel groups and suppliers on the platform. Her focus is on making the product work in practice: turning pilots into long-term partners and building the processes that scale.

Yury Kusik
Yury Kusik
CTO & Co-Founder

Yury has been building software for over two decades, working across systems architecture, product engineering and technical leadership. Before co-founding PAIDD he worked as an independent consultant and senior engineer across multiple tech businesses. He built PAIDD from the ground up and leads the full stack — from ERP integrations with SunSystems, SAP and PeopleSoft to the automation engine at its core.

Founding partners

The operators who
shaped modern hospitality

Wulf, Michael and Hans have built and run some of the world's most recognised hotel brands — and felt the same problem both as operators and suppliers. When they saw what PAIDD was doing they joined the team. They're here because they believe the industry is ready for a better way to make cash flow.

Wulf van Alkemade
Wulf van Alkemade
Co-Founder, citizenM Hotels

Before co-founding citizenM, Wulf spent decades as a supplier to hotels — selling guest amenities across Europe, co-founding Groupe GM in Paris, and building SAA Global Alliance with global contracts across Starwood, Hyatt, Fairmont and Club Med. He has lived the late payment problem from the invoice up. In 2005 he co-founded citizenM, growing it into one of the most recognised hotel brands in the world before its acquisition by Marriott International.

Michael Levie
Michael Levie
Co-Founder, citizenM Hotels

Michael co-founded citizenM alongside Wulf and served as its Chief Operations Officer through its global expansion and eventual acquisition by Marriott International. Before citizenM he held senior roles at NH Hotels. A board member of HFTP — the global nonprofit association representing hospitality finance and technology professionals worldwide — he has been central to shaping how PAIDD is positioned and taken to market.
